Reference to Masonic tradition and symbology. The lion symbolizes courage and the owl symbolizes watchfulness. This also feeds into the next line referencing “powers that be”, who are often Masons. Combining this line and the previous line means that Killer Mike is fucking shit up for some important people.
Taking classical interpretations of the animals involved, lions are brave, owls are wise (on Athena/Minerva’s shoulder was perched an owl, the Owl of Wisdom, so that symbolism predates any sort of modernity). This feed forward too into the verse regarding being “in the jungle with the savages” – since Mike clearly feels like the king of the jungle, but doesn’t lose touch with wisdom and truth.

Very clever line from Crooked I. “There’s no I in team” is a popular expression meaning that you can’t be selfish if you are on a team. However, there are two “i’s” in Wii, one of Nintendo’s gaming consoles.
Crooked continues with a reference to the popular game Call of Duty: Black Ops, which can be played on a Wii. This is likely referring to Crooked I and his team C.O.B’s real life, as they are from the streets, and they kill if they need to. When Crooked’s team plays Black Ops, everyone else will lose the game (life).
