Kendrick doesn’t care about petty rap beef when there are bigger things to worry about, like his good friend, Stunna Duece aka Chad Albert Lee Keaton who was killed in Compton in August 2013.

He expresses a similar sentiment on “The Heart Pt. 2”:

My uncle doing life, inside prison he wasn’t wrapped too tight / He told me to rap about life, not rap niggas

This could also be a younger Kendrick saying that he doesn’t care about rap that inserts politics into its messaging, giving an ironic sentiment considering its on such a quintessentially political rap album. This especially makes sense in the next line which emphasizes going hard.
