Belgian starlet Ismail Azzaoui misses out on the chance to link up with his compatriots in the first team as he jumps over to Wolfsburg to continue his career. The 17 year old was widely touted as one of the next to break into the first team, with noted Spurs youth expert Windy speaking of his talents.

After hinting at a tough decision coming up, he has thanked the fans and been handed a five year contract with the German side, which has saw him slide straight into their first team set-up with their other new signings. All the best.

After spending time on loan with the Toffees last season, Aaron Lennon completes a permanent move back up north, as the Leeds-born winger departs White Hart Lane after 10 years. He signs a three year contract for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £4.5m.

We are delighted to welcome Aaron back to Everton. We know we are getting a player our fans know inside out. He had a major role in the second half of our season and we’re looking forward to Aaron kicking on and continuing to enjoy his football, as well as being the productive player we know he can be.
– Roberto Martinez, September 2015

Scooping the #12 shirt, he’ll be hoping to pick up where he left off in his previous stint, bagging two goals in his time at Goodison Park – he’ll certainly be looking to get more minutes than he was afforded at Spurs, after being left out of the squad entirely alongside Emmanuel Adebayor. Perhaps that’s the reason he looks a bit happier this time! Thanks for everything Azza, you’ll be missed.

I have no doubt he will be of huge benefit to our squad and we now have four very different striking options which I think is key going into the new season.
– Justin Edinburgh, June 2015

The Swans' 23 year old striker makes the move to Gillingham following the expiration of his contract at the Liberty. He made just two appearances for his former club, but after some decent loan spells, his new club are very enthusiastic, as you can see in the quote above. You can read more on the move here.

Awful thing to base a story on, but man this would upset me. Why are all these ridiculous links starting up today – I want Pato at White Hart Lane :(
