I disagree with this. In light of the following line and knowing how religious Cee-Lo is, I think you should consider that perhaps instead of face he says “faith” done turned into forgotten memories/and I aint gettin away with nothing because I know He always sees/. He’s saying that his faith in God has turned into forgotten memories and how sad that even though he knows God can see everything he does, that doesn’t change the fact he had to turn to selling drugs to support himself and his family. I agree somewhat with what you’re saying, but in this specific context, I believe he’s saying “faith” instead of “face”
