He’ll beat ya down, both with his rhymes and his fists, again and again till you’re dead.

Definitely a reference to violence, but could also be a reference to drugs. “Sling” and “heat” bring heroin to mind. Maybe it is all in his head.

Ride thinks we are all just slaves to society, and most of us aren’t even aware of it. It is unbelievable to him that people try to act like they aren’t slaves to society. Therefore, he will “kill” you.

Also, Ride purposely misspells “gall” here as “gaul,” in order to reference the Battle of Alesia, a historic conflict between the Celtic Gauls and the Romans, led by Julius Caesar. “Trapped between these walls” alludes to the nature of the battle, wherein the Gallic people defended against the Romans from behind the fortified walls of the hill city of Alesia. Despite their resilience, it was ultimately Caesar’s siege tactics which won the conflict, establishing Roman rule in Gaul for the next 500 years. Ride equates Caesar’s dominance over the Gauls with his own dominance over people who are less mentally and emotionally actualized.

The demons are his vices, he is his balls. With this, he could be saying that his demons bring out his “lower self” or physical obsessions, but that does not consider the simile within the metaphor. The line is reminiscent of “road kill slung over wicker wheelchair” in the song “Anne Bonny.” “Halls” may reference your ear canals. Seeing as Death grips is musically aggressive, and off-putting to most people, the metaphor fits.

In reference to the last few lines, and with the simile in mind, what he could be saying is that the deeper meaning to his shouting is destroying your “Plutonium lore” and “bitch ass decor”. If the balls are him, and they are being drug by demons, then he would be the wagon in the simile. What you first hear is cannons drug in wagons, (him shouting nonsense), but then you hear the bang, (since cannons cannot tear down walls without cannon balls).

Decor is the surface reality that MC ride is disillusioned with. Your reality was like his, filled with the obstacles of “plutonium lore”, or what others told you was correct. However, he broke though. Now he is literally destroying your world by splitting the fabric of your reality.

Someone being run over, possibly someone killing a house cat, a boy soldier shooting someone, and a gang execution… Isn’t the internet a beautiful thing?

He feels watched at all times. Like he’s in a metaphorical jail. He just wishes for someone to “post his bail” so he can get out. The “footage” MC Ride has seen can’t be forgotten. It plays in his head and he can’t escape it like a jail.

“Full moon in the klink” is a reference to how some studies and police have stated that for, some reason, violent crime is more frequently observed on nights of full moons or near full moons.

“Shining, don’t sleep” means he’s paranoid and can’t sleep. But instead of feeling watched, MC Ride feels that he needs to constantly know what’s going on around him in order to feel free.

This also works as a reference to two of their earlier songs from their Death Grips EP and Exmilitary, (respectively), “Full Moon (Death Classic)” and “Klink”.

Playing off of the previous line, MC Ride feels he cant make a move without someone seeing. Satellites can track you all the way from orbit, so a lead pipe(handgun) wouldn’t be much help against that.

He can’t see to his left or blindside, both out of fear and paranoia, which distort his view.
