My favorite Outkast album, probably ‘Stankonia.’ That’s probably the one that I listened to the most. I love every Outkast album. Outkast is one of the biggest influences to me. Andre 3000, one of the biggest influences to me. With that line, I just wanted to encapsulate an energy, and give you a vision. “Hey Ya!” was actually quite a bit before I was in high school, but I was just freestyling anyway.

What I was actually thinking of is this little recreational shop on La Cienega ‘cause one of my managers used to stay up on La Cienega and Sunset, and so I would go more recently to this recreational shop over by there. I used to sleep on his couch, and I just be smoking dope around there. I’m sure I’ve smoked a lot of dope on La Brea, too. I be out in LA all the time, constantly smoking dope.

Also has past situations, has problems and broken hearts, as we all do. That’s all of us. At this point in time, I feel like women will given different labels based on having been with other niggas than a man does. They be like, “Oh, she’s a hoe or whatever” ‘cause she’s fucked a lot of dudes. Every dude has fucked a lot of girls, so it’s kind of like, it’s quite disproportionate. I’m saying that I don’t care how many men you been with or who you been with. I’m trying to rock with you right now.

Wish I had been to Hawaii. I never been, man. Never been. I wanna go though. I wanna go to the volcano. I wanted to go to Hawaii actually this past, last Christmas. I was trying to go to Hawaii, but I’m such a procrastinator and I took so long, so by the time I was buying tickets, the prices were astronomical, so I was like, let’s go back to Jamaica.
