This is a reference to the 1991 song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana, in which Kurt Cobain sings:

I’m worse at what I do best
And for this gift I feel blessed

Em then works the word ‘curse’ into the verse as the antithesis of ‘blessed’, even though he’s using a different definition of the word (‘to swear’ instead of ‘invocation for harm’).

Some of Em’s most praised songs and lines are either provoking controversy like “My Name Is” where he jokes about lesbians, “Cleanin' Out My Closet” denouncing his mother, “Just the Two of Us” where he kills his ex-wife and buries her at a lake with the help of their daughter or “We As Americans” where he raps that he wants the US President dead. He’s also renowned for his notorious beefs and diss songs like D12’s “Girls”, where he goes against Fred Durst, through “Quitter” and “I Remember” dissing Everlast and, most recently, “Not Alike” taking a stab at, and Killshot responding to MGK. For these reasons, he has constantly been exposed to harsh criticism in the press.

Vampires suck out the blood from the neck of humans, so they are literally “at one’s neck”. The phrase also means to be hostile, like the press is to Em. The simile also works on a different level: vampires are parasites who live off of draining people’s blood, just like a journalist who gets paid for tarnishing Eminem.

As for the rhyme scheme, note the almost perfect multisyllablic rhyme pattern that spreads through the entire four-bar section with punchlines at every half a bar.

A clever wordplay on the homophones “occurred” (as in happened or, in this context, came to mind) and “a curd” which is coagulated, sour milk.

Metaphorically, the speaker is also describing how his girl cheating on him makes him feel inside.

Eminem is often criticized for being too mainstream, or commercial which he addressed in “Rap God”:

“Oh, he’s too mainstream.”

Commercial flights are for common travelers, while Em claims to own a luxury private Learjet airplane. So he’s not commercial – he flies private.

ADD stands for “Attention Deficit Disorder.” Interestingly, Em is set to be featured on a Joyner Lucas track called “ADHD,” from the 2019 album of the same name.

APB is an abbreviation for “All Points Bulletin”—a police term for a radio message typically sent out to all units describing a wanted or missing person. The phrase also appears in Em’s early work, on the song “Backstabber” from his Infinite mixtape:

Attention all units, attention all units
We have an all-points bulletin out on a man with green hair
I repeat, we have an APB on a man with green hair

Eminem has claimed to be the greatest rapper alive throughout his catalog, including on such songs as “Say What You Say,” “Greatest,” and “Evil Twin”:

Fuck top five, bitch, I’m top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an evil twin
So who the fuck you think that third and that fourth spot’s for?

In this double entendre, Em reminds his opponents that he is the GOAT and that they should “watch who [they are] talking to” or else he will come after them, as he has done before in tracks like “Bully” aimed at Ja Rule and Benzino as he mentions here in “Killshot”.

Additionally, Apple’s new watches feature a dictation function that allows you to talk to your watch and turn this input into text.

Eminem likens his pen to a cocked shotgun, meaning he’s ready to use his words as a weapon. This wordplay is similar to a line from “Rap God”:

My pen’ll go off when I half-cock it
Got a fat knot from that rap profit

Acetaminophen, or paracetamol is a painkiller. This line could mean Em considered leaving the game and leave all the pain behind but it’s also a reference to his addiction to sleep medication.
