He’s like a V6, an engine that has internal combustion — that fire! These other rappers are still pedaling bikes, pedantic.

Shad is sick of rapping because he feels that it worsens all the time. And he misses the days when most, if not all hip-hop/rap songs were constructed lyrically and conveyed meaningful messages.

The “scene” he is referring to is the hip-hop scene and he misses a time when the scene was a dialogue between artists producing lyrically meaningful music.

Civil war rocked the area for more than a decade and a half and was referred to as “no man’s land” as a result.

A contradictory statement — he’s not suicidal, he’s just the kind of crazy guy that puts six bullets instead of one into a revolver to play Russian roulette, which obviously means he’ll definitely die.

All Rugged Man does is dirty. He’s even got a sexually transmitted disease, that burns his dick when he tries to pee. And we all know he likes pissing.

Satan was a snake in the Garden of Eden, so this is a play on the first line’s “sacrilegious” and the third line’s “writing of own scriptures”, because Satan is intended to deceive — like writing one’s own scriptures.

This is not the only time Rugged Man has commited sacrilege in his lyrics. In “The People’s Champ”, he spits:

Sip wine with Jesus ‘till I’m in a drunken stupor
Then I slap box God and sumo wrestle with Buddha

Reference to his own song “Poor People” from his 2009 compilation album Legendary Classics Vol. 1, where the hook says exactly this same line.
