Eden Hazard snatches a point for Chelsea and avoids Jose Mourinho suffering his first ever defeat at Stamford Bridge with the last action of the match.

Ramires bought the penalty with a ridiculous piece of simulation, too. It was the fourth minute of injury time, and Ramires appears to run into the path of Stephen Reid, who was minding his own business defensively. The Brazilian falls over and Andre Mariner gives the most debatable call of the day.

Jose Mourinho’s 100th home match as Chelsea manager ALMOST ended in his first ever defeat at Stamford Bridge.

It was the very definition of a smash and grab by West Brom, who withstood Chelsea’s 70% possession and many good scoring chances to strike back themselves. Having already won away at Manchster Utd, Steve Clarke has taken five huge points from the top sides this season. This will feel like a loss for the Baggies fans though, who lost two points with the literal last kick of the match.

Cheslea’s average positions towards the end of the match show their desperation to equalise.

Summer signing Bacuna has become the team’s set-piece specialist since his arrival, and he demonstrates why with his second free-kick goal of the season.

This is Villa’s first goal in over eight hours of football!

Hull rekindle the away fans' hope early in the second half, courtesy of Yannick Sagbo. Victor Wanyama has a brain fart and doesn’t realise he’s being closed down. He casually has the ball stolen from him, and Sagbo has the space to bend in a (still very impressive) finish.

One of the best goals you’ll see all weekend comes to triple Southampton’s advantage. Adam Lallana picks up the ball 35 yards from goal, dribbles wide out left, beats three defenders with skill and pace, cuts back inside and then coolly puts it around the goalkeeper and in.

He’s just won a call up to the England national team too. Good timing for him to stake a place in the squad for their upcoming friendlies against Chile and Germany.

Rickie Lambert has never missed a penalty for Southampton, scoring all of the 31 he’s been tasked with taking.

It was a clear penalty decision. Steve Harper rushes out to clear Lambert’s pass through the defence but Adam Lallana pokes it away from him at the last second. Harper takes Lallana down on the edge of the area and is booked for denying Southampton a goalscoring chance.

Southampton’s attacking players are nearly unstoppable this season. Early in matches they attack with such intensity and in such number that it creates pressure on the opposition defence right from kickoff.

This is in display here. There’s so many Southampton players rushing into the penalty area to meet Lallana’s cross that Hull City can’t organise themselves to mark them all at once. The second ball is brought down sweetly for Schneiderlin, who can head in largely unchallenged.

A totally clear cut red card decision. Campbell is through on goal, and only has he goalkeeper between him and putting Cardiff out of sight. Michel Vorm mistimes his rush out to stop him and instead of heading the ball away he clatters the player to the floor.

In a rare, brilliant oddity, Swansea were forced to put full back Angel Rangel in goal for the final few minutes as they’d used all three substitutions.

Rangel made himself something of a consolation hero though, saving the resulting free kick well. He’ll finish the season as the only goalkeeper to save 100% of the shots he faced!

Steven Caulker spent a very successful season on loan at Swansea City two years ago, helping him grow into the rounded, quality central defender he is today.

That’s why it’s incredibly poetic and heartbreaking in equal measure for the Swans. Caulker is marked by Swansea’s Chico Flores from a corner, but he uses great athleticism and power to out-jump him and put his header into the corner of the net.

This is Cattermole’s seventh red card in five years of Premier League football. It’s safe to say he carries something of a reputation that ultimately ensured he left the field early.

It’s a potentially dangerous scissor tackle that doesn’t make full contact (although still enough to split Elmohady’s boot!) but the recklessness in the challenge is enough for the referee to brandish red. Perhaps harsh, but the next one wasn’t…
