A song written by Andrew when he was seventeen and in love. When the girl heard the song, she called the cops. Read the lyrics and you’ll see why.

WK wrote at length about the song for The Guardian:

the assistant to the head of school got a copy of my song on cassette and gave it to the girl I had a crush on. This was probably the worst thing that had ever happened in my life. She heard the song and was completely freaked out. Within three days, every kid in school had a copy. She told her friends, teachers and parents: “This guy at school is stalking me and threatening my life.” She played them the song and they called the police.

In the end, I had a juvenile restraining order put on me, which lasted until I was 21. I’ve never told anyone about it since, except my closest friends and family. Three months ago, I was advised by my personal manager and life coach to finally let people hear it, to resolve the nightmare. So, I am. Now is the first time since the incident that I’ve let anyone hear the song. And I can hear why.

Eugenie is the Queen’s granddaughter. She’s been keeping pretty quiet recently, probably because of that alien beacon/mind control device she insisted on wearing to the 2011 royal wedding.

It is only in recent years that the genetics of depression are becoming understood.

Studies show that a predisposition towards depression can be hereditary. In cases where twins are raised separately, they still have a hugely increased likelyhood to both develop depression if there is a family history of the condition.

Autism is a developmental disorder that operates on a spectrum of severity.

Those with high-functioning autism or Asperger syndrome may appear only slightly odd to the uneducated, the sort of autism portrayed in Rain Man or The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Many high functioning autistic people attend ordinary schools, are able to progress to university, and get jobs in adult life.

The disorder can also come in very severe forms that render the person unable to communicate or function independently in everyday life.

Segregated golfing clubs manage to squirm their way through a loophole in the Equality Act 2010, the statute adopted by Britain under EU law that governs equality in all walks of life in the UK.

The act bans discrimination on a great many grounds: colour, disability, age. But on the subject of sex, it is leaky. If a golf club is already open to both sexes, it cannot discriminate based on gender. However, the Act has no provision to combat existing segregated clubs.

There are approximately 3,000 golf clubs in the United Kingdom. Amongst these are several that are male-exclusive (such as Murfield, the site of the 2013 British Open), as well as several that are female-exclusive.

There is an argument that the existence of women’s clubs cancels out the men’s clubs. However, it is the men’s clubs that continue to host the world’s biggest golfing events and where the focus of the sport lies.

A push for a more progressive, non-segregated golfing community has been building for well over a decade, but in 2013 it seems to be coming to a head. Even the Prime Minister is giving his two cents.
