The Thunder played against the Miami Heat in the 2012 NBA Finals fighting for the team’s first championship since relocating from Seattle. However, if they were to win the Finals, all it would do would bring back memories of the 1979 season when the Sonics won their first championship while playing inside the Kingdome.
