Track 6 on Trials & Tribulations.

“Revelations” features b-Rabbit criticizing the Christian faith and his attempts to explain why he renounced his religion. He references the Russian feminist group Pussy Riot as well as the infamous child sex abuse case involving pastor Paul Shanley.

In a piece of controversy, b-Rabbit uses the word “faggots” in the second verse in reference to homosexuals although the word is actually censored on the explicit version. b-Rabbit claims the line is used to portray how society views homosexuals and is comparable to the heavy usage of the word “nigger” in the 2012 film Django Unchained.

b-Rabbit also blames God in the song for his aunt and grandmother’s deaths who passed away in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
