A paraphrase is the act of re-wording what someone else has said in a way that preserves the meaning but does not simply copy their syntax.
One of Pac’s most famous albums was All Eyez On Me; here I employ the paraphrase technique, using the word “pupils” instead of “eyes” to emphasize that my students need to pay attention.
