“The Big Three” refers to Chrysler, Ford, and GM, typically thought of as the largest automobile manufacturers. All three companies are based in Detroit, White’s hometown.
The whole song is basically a put down of these three companies and corporate America in general. Jack White is also known to be a big supporter of both the scientist and the car company Tesla. The track is also a sort of homage to White’s love of the number 3. As he once said of this song:
it’s three chords and three verses, and we accent threes together all through that. It was a number I always thought of as perfect, or our attempt at being perfect. Like on a traffic light, you couldn’t just have a red and a green. I work on sculptures too, and I always use three colors. I don’t know. It has that feel to it, everything we do. It just seems like the perfect connection. There’s vocals, drums and guitar.

# Eminem’s Lollapalooza Encore
Lolla has many returning artists this year, but possibly none more hyped than Eminem. After revisiting The Marshall Mathers LP in 2013 with MMLP2, the Rap God will return to Chicago three years removed from a legendary Lollapalooza 2011 performance – take a peek at it here!
Though 2011 was shortly after his release of Recovery, the show was anything but limited to that album. By cutting down the length of many songs, Shady was able to cover every era of his career from classics like “My Name Is” and “Lose Yourself” to more recent hits like “No Love” and “3 AM”. He had help with special guests Royce Da 5'9" for Bad Meets Evil jams like “Fast Lane”, the incredible voice of Bruno Mars for “Lighters”, and Skylar Grey for “I Need a Doctor”.
Expect new songs from MMLP2 to contribute to much of the same in this can’t miss performance!

After a great start to the game in which Shabazz Napier hit four 3 pointers early on, UConn built a strong double digit lead that Iowa State limited to ten by halftime.
The Cyclones started to come back in the second half behind the incredibly hot hand of Dustin Hogue and his hair who scored 34 points on 15-19 shooting and grabbing 6 rebounds.
He picked up some much-needed slack from ISU’s big three. Season leading scorer Melvin Ejim was in early foul trouble and struggled mightily from the field (3-13). This was coupled with DeAndre Kane’s free throw troubles (2-9) and the loss of third-leading scorer Georges Niang who broke his foot in the first round.
Unfortunately for Iowa State, UConn’s DeAndre Daniels was almost as hot as Hogue. He poured in 27 points on 10-15 shooting and added 10 boards. Napier and Ryan Boatright also combined for 35 points in the effort as the Huskies are Elite Eight bound!
Editor’s Note: Brock is awesome because he correctly predicted UConn making the Elite 8 in his bracket.
