At first I thought it was repetitive as well, but seeing the African American community embrace it like they did and really become one of the symbols of their movement it has to be one of the best simply because of its political significance. Also as one of the few people who have ever seen this song live, I can say the emotion people hold in it is absolutely breathtaking. People chanted that at 3 different points in the concert and it was incredibly moving. So yes I would say it needs to be in the list.

best weeknd song of the year, and the only one on the album i can advocate making the list. i’d say 15-20 range. love the lo-fi, rumbling bass, and it’s one of the best hype songs of the year
