The phrase Now Why See does double duty here:

• it means NYC (Now, Why and See represent the letters N, Y and C in the Supreme Alphabet)

Kool DJ Red Alert played on Kiss FM for many years (later Hot 97) and was associated with acts like Boogie Down Productions and the Jungle Brothers.
