With all the alone time he got and aspirations Emilio had outside of the classroom, he often pondered how he would achieve his goal of making millions of dollars.

Ultimately, during his college years, he would drop out of the University of Rochester and pursue a rap career, starting his path to riches.

The students treated Emilio as if he were an employee made to do domestic or farm work. This can also be seen as racism due to his Hispanic background and how illegal immigrants are often brought to doing farm work for a living.

Emilio was a loner in his school, not having excellent grades or having money like his peers as he struggled to make friends though it didn’t really affect him as he expresses later in the verse.

Emilio’s teacher saw potential in him that was left untapped because he wasn’t motivated to try or fully apply his skills in school. This laziness may be why in later songs, Emilio spoke of how his teachers would say he would never amount to shit:

I remember when my teachers were treating me like a pile of shit
Said I won’t amount to shit, then I got a scholarship

Emilio isn’t very fond of religion which he has highlighted in songs like The Letter thus missing religion doesn’t really affect him especially in the pursuit of pussy.

The “Oh god” response given by Crystal while they have sex is what Emilio considers as a substitute for a church or prayer.

Although Emilio would attend his homeroom and be marked down for attendence, he would skip all his other classes and run around the school

XV accepts the label of a square, stereotyped as being a boring person or one who doesn’t fit in with a specific group. He came to adopt it through the type of music he makes and his fanbase being Squarians. He even went through the trouble of naming one of his mixtapes Planet Squaria: The Square in The Circle

He doesn’t like conforming to whatever society most accepts which is what rounded people are stereotyped as.

XV’s brother, Sez Batters, is also a musician himself and has been featured on a few of Vizzy’s songs such as Squarian Anthem and Mary Kate & Ashley.

The two brothers are an awesome pair of rappers and come together to make some dope music. The black and white ranger was a staple of the Power Rangers series, appearing in numerous titles though XV may be referring to the first one introduced in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zack Taylor who was of African American descent. This also alludes to the nerdy lifestyle XV grew into during his childhood.

After the release of his compilation mixtape, Squarians Volume I, XV proceeded to go on a hiatus with minimal social networking and releasing no new music whatsoever.

But with recent tweets, such as the one seen above, it seems that XV has been working on some new material to share to the Squarian believers, possibly the second volume of the Squarians series or the long awaited debut album, The Kid with the Green Backpack.

He’s rushing to write down his lyrics on paper, unable to save any of it with the intense work he’s been putting in for the fans. This also may be a reference to the lifestyle he lives, drinks, video games and smoking.

The way that Emilio lives is one full of chaos and craziness. Jesus Pieces are pieces of jewelry often depicting crosses, crucifixes and even Jesus himself. They are worn by various rap artists such as Game, Kanye West and Big Sean.

The jesus piece is a contradiction to the life Emilio lives, walking along the path of sinning and self-destruction but dubbing himself with a piece that symbolizes religion and moral values, things he does not have.
