Playing on the nickname of Rick Ross, Rozay shares a similar pronunciation to Rose Liqueur. Alcohol, such as liquor and wine, are supposed to make you drunk or un-sober.

However the experience of trying to make a deal with Rick Ross and his camp made Emilio realize or ‘sober’ to the fact that dealing with record labels are usually losing situations for most. He’d rather just make music independently or wait for other record labels to come to him.

Rose Liquor is a cognac like the two previously mentioned but Emilio is actually referring to one of rapper Rick Ross monicers, Rozay which shares the same pronunciation as the drink.

Last year around the time of the release of his Breaking Point mixtape, rumors circled around the internet that Rick Ross was trying to sign Emilio to his Maybach Music Group though a deal was never reached, although it was a ‘possibility’. The two parties not being able to reach an agreement has left Rojas with a bitter taste in his mouth possibly though the lines after this say otherwise.

Referring to joining Dizzy Wright’s Golden Age Tour which started on September 7th, 2013, one of Emilio’s close friends were arrested and in support of him, Emilio recorded a track to show love and support his homie.

Lately, Emilio has been labelling himself as the best in numerous areas, doing so early in the freestyle when he called himself (“the nicest Latin rapper since Pun”). He also called himself the best in his generation in the title track of his No Shame, No Regrets mixtape.

Although he didn’t mention it in this track, Emilio hails from Rochester, New York which has a rich musical history outside of Hip-Hop. Emilio is the only prominent rapper from his city though which he realizes, stating in a track with Bodega Bamz.

Drawing lines in the sand is to create artificial boundaries that, if crossed, will lead to punishment for whoever does. Emilio uses the idiom to separate himself from all other Latin rappers that others idolize. He considers himself the top dog out of the few Latin rappers out right now.

Big Pun was a Puerto Rican rapper who made his way from the underground rap scene in the late 1990s and was one of Emilio’s inspirations to pursue rap music, which he states in his song Flaco.

Emilio has made a comparison to the legendary wordsmith before and is forcibly taking the mantle of the best rapper of Latin descent since Big Pun died in 2000, Rojas being part Venezuelan and part Caucasian.
