Despite what you may think, Buk Lau isn’t all that popular in Chinatown. When he was a kid, he scored A-’s all across the board.

One of Buk Lau’s (many) girlfriends looks like a black man, even though she’s a woman. Therefore, claiming that he discriminates on race (or looks for that matter) is just plain incorrect.

This is Buk Lau doing an impression of a person offended by his music, trying to imply that he’s bigoted

In the intro for (most) of his videos, a woman repeats or emphasizes the “Ali” in “Rucka Rucka Ali”.

Rucka Rucka Ali is famous for making parody songs of happenings in the news, rapping about stereotypes, racism, natural disasters, and more all the while disregarding being politically correct.

At first, this might sound like an odd line, but let me break it down.

The peanut butter is Buk Lau’s rapping styles. Smooth, salty and occasionally sweet. It’s smooth because you don’t see him choke or break flow, it’s salty because the lyrics are a bit edgy and has gotten a few unseasoned people giving him salty looks (Lawry’s), and it’s sweet because his past album, according to him, served him well.

Many people want this while they’re completely different from Buk Lau. Hence, the term “jelly” is formed (also conveniently shorthand for the word jealous). In fact, X’s willingness to work with Buk Lau despite their differences is an example of a PB and J working together. It’s not that X is truly jealous, it’s just Buk Lau’s declaration at the time to all of his doubters.

X disagrees, like he did on the last song.
