In this second variation of the original hook, efemjay concludes the song by saying he “never fell” – even after being away from rap for 11+ years, he has maintained and even improved his skill level.

“Byers” here refers to efemjay’s high-school classmate Jason Byers, who was a young man of enormous size, so much so, that efemjay (then FMJ) had a song in 1995 called “Fat Like Byers.” This is alluded to in the Full Blown AIDS song “Fiat-Like Buyers,” which has a very similar pronunciation.

Here, efemjay laments his own obesity, saying he wishes he were only as fat as Byers – either as fat as Byers was in high school, or perhaps as fat as he was at the time of the song’s recording (Byers had lost considerable weight).

As for the reason that efemjay was obese, here he says it was an addiction to Breyers ice cream.

Here efemjay details his (then) obesity.

  1. In reference to earlier lines, where he first says he uses cocaine but later negates that suggestion with a “Psyche!”, efemjay says the only “white stuff” (cocaine also being white) he’s ever touched was “mayo” or mayonnaise. Mayonnaise, of course, is very fattening.

  2. He implores listeners to look at his physique – making his obesity clear.

  3. He says that the big-and-tall clothier Casual Male XL (also referenced in “Hardcore Like Bob Store,” in which efemjay says you can find him “buyin' shirts” at the store) is where he buys his clothes.

  4. He says he can “barely touch his toes” – being too fat to bend over.

  5. He says the distance around his waist (the “circumference”) just “grows and grows” – he keeps getting fatter and fatter.

The good news is that efemjay lost 100 lbs shortly after the release of Full Blown AIDS. These lyrics no longer apply.

Here efemjay says he snorts more cocaine than high-school classmate “Sammy Square,” more properly known as Jason Simpson. Simpson was a friend of efemjay’s who developed a drug problem.

In the second line, efemjay says “Psyche!” – the equivalent of “Not!,” negating the previous statement. efemjay has never done cocaine – he never “fucks with” the yayo (slang for cocaine).

Curtis Shaw is the name of one of efemjay’s high-school classmates, who some people thought to be a disagreeable person – an “asshole.”

Believe it or not, people thought the same thing about efemjay. Here, efemjay says that maybe the people are right – but he doesn’t care.

Figuratively, efemjay positions himself as supreme ruler, with the power to dictate law. Literally, he is saying that what he says is true.

efemjay is opposed to Nazism and, in fact, equates all forms of statism with the National-Socialism of the Nazi Party. This line refers to an urban legend that the Nazis invented the Fanta soft drink.

The implication here is that when efemjay has sexual intercourse with his imagined opponent’s mother, it will be anal sex and not vaginal. As a result, the woman in question will experience difficulty with her bowel movements for a time (“at least a week”) following the encounter.

This line is in reference to the movie Bad Santa, starring Billy Bob Thornton as a character who frequently has anal sex with overweight women. One such woman later tells him that she doesn’t want to have sex again, because the last time she did, she “didn’t shit right for a week.”

The name “efemjay” comes from the artist’s old rap name of “Flash Master Jay” – also then known as “FMJ.”

“efemjay” is pronounced as “FMJ,” with the initials “FMJ” being backronymned to mean “Full Metal Jacket” – a type of armor-piercing bullet, as well as the name of a Stanley Kubrick film.

Here, efemjay states another alias – “Dewey Knitwell” – which, when said fast, sounds like “Doing it well.” The alias “Dewey Knitwell” thus implies that efemjay “does it well” – he raps proficiently.
