Regularly scheduled programs are interrupted by natural disasters, either because news preempts the regular programming, or perhaps because electricity is lost. Either way, The Chancellor compares the sonic assault of he and efemjay with this “encroachment” of your regular radio listening.

The Chancellor says opponents “can’t see” him (“Chance Nasty”) or efemjay (“Flash Master”). “Chance Nasty” being a nickname for The Chancellor, and “Flash Master” being the origin of the name efemjay: efemjay = FMJ; with “FMJ” standing for “Flash Master Jay,” a portmanteau of Grandmaster Flash and Jam Master Jay. (The “FMJ” that make up “efemjay” has now been backronymed to stand for “Full Metal Jacket”).

“You can’t see me” is hip-hop slang for saying someone is not on your level. Here, The Chancellor is saying that would-be opponents of he and efemjay are not on their level, and thus, cannot “see” them.

(2) The Chancellor has literally gone through “different stages” as a jungle DJ – he’s “tore down the place” (put on a really good show) on actual stages throughout the country as a DJ.

In the previous line, efemjay says his opponent will “never build a legacy.” Why? Because his lyrics are “ill conceived” – they are poorly thought-out.

The double meaning of “conceived” is explored by applying it to conception of pregnancy. A pregnancy derived from anal sex would be one “conceived” in an “ill” manner – “ill conceived.” Thus, efemjay says his opponent’s rhymes are “ill conceived” like a pregnancy resulting from semen leaking from a woman’s rectum into her vagina. Ill!
