But again, efemjay is struggling with how to approach his friend and tell him that he knows he’s gay, and that he’s still his friend – efemjay still supports him.

Now that efemjay knows his friend likes to receive anal sex from other men (“he likes his pooper full”), his response is a dismissive “whatever,” i.e., “who cares?”

efemjay says he didn’t know his friend was gay before, and they were good friends – so why should he care now? Nothing has changed. Why should he care that his friend “plants his seed on barren ground” – i.e., he ejaculates his semen in men’s rectums, which are “barren” or interfile? He shouldn’t, and he doesn’t.

Here is another clue as to the true identity of efemjay’s gay “homie.” The real Booger D (a.k.a. The Chancellor) is not a Green Bay Packers fan, and he and efemjay have never watched the Super Bowl together.

The word play here involves the Green Bay Packers football team, and the term “packing fudge.”

The denial and rationalization are over with. Now efemjay proudly declares that his homie is as gay “as the day is long” – he’s very gay. But who is efemjay, he asks, to say it’s wrong? After all, efemjay has his own vices, so who is he to judge?

In an attempt to show his friend that nothing has changed between them, efemjay says he would even let the gay friend babysit his daughter. After all, since she’s a girl, he knows his gay friend wouldn’t molest her – this sentiment alone is offensive, if unintentionally (remember, efemjay is playing a character in the song).

But the final line – “when we got her home, we’d HIV test her” – makes it clear that, despite his efforts to come to terms with his friend’s gayness and with society’s evolving attitudes towards homosexuality, the efemjay character is still mostly clueless and entirely unable to refrain from making offensive comments.

Echoing the sentiment of the first lines of the song (and the first line of Verse 2), efemjay wants to tell his friend that he knows he’s gay, and that he accepts (“is cool with”) his lifestyle.

Continuing from the previous line, efemjay wonders whether his friend thinks it is a matter of preference or something within his friend’s genes, that make him want to have sex with the same gender.

Here, efemjay questions whether or not his friend considers homosexuality to a “personal choice,” a matter of preference; or if instead, it is “fate,” a matter of genetic predestination. Is homosexuality genetic?

efemjay asks if his friend is a closeted gay man; practicing homosexuality in secret (“on the down low”) and “playing it straight” (pretending to be straight within straight society).

This is the first clue at the true identity of efemjay’s gay “homie” – it isn’t Caucasian Booger D. It is someone who would be less out-of-place in the 1991 John Singleton film Boyz N The Hood.
