This is Track 2 from efemjay’s 2009 album, Full Blown AIDS. While the references in Track 1, the title track, may have been obscure, many in this song are inside references about people from efemjay’s high school. Nevertheless, efemjay promotes anarchism and libertarian values throughout the song, while maintaining a hardcore battle-rap composure.

“Hardcore Like Bob Store” samples “Open All Night” from George Clinton’s Sample Some of Disc, Sample Some of D.A.T., and interpolates lines from Doug E. Fresh & MC Ricky Dee’s classic “La-Di-Da-Di.”

Continuing from the previous line’s “pedophile” reference, efemjay gives a sarcastic shout out to Terry Hubbard (pictured), efemjay’s sixth-grade teacher and middle-school basketball coach, who plead No-Contest to charges of molesting students – including the cited Matt McCance.

efemjay’s lyrics and presentation (his “style”) is “sick enough” to make a pedophile vomit. This is a play on the double meaning of “sick” – the slang meaning (good) and the more common usage (in this case, disgusting).

efemjay’s imagined opponent wants to “battle,” but to efemjay, this is laughable. After all, the would-be opponent is a nerd. Perhaps the nerd would have had a chance back in 1997, but after being away for eleven years, efemjay is better than ever, and now his would-be opponents have no hope of defeating him.

efemjay had been gone a long time, and for this he apologizes. But in the time that he was away, his proficiency at writing raps improved – his rhymes got “fat” or “phat.” The double meaning of “fat”/“phat” is explored by comparing how efemjay’s rhymes have gotten “fat,” with the weight gain of a high-school classmate, Kyle Luke.

In Verse 1, efemjay says his imagined opponent’s mother is “sore” because he (efemjay) had anal sex with her (he “hit her in the shitter”).

In the hook, efemjay says his opponent’s mother is sore from having anal sex with various partners (“taking cocks up the ass, ‘cause she’s an anal ho”).

This time, efemjay alleges his opponent’s mom is sore for two different reasons: (1) wearing nipple clamps, and (2) having sexual intercourse with “Mr. Mallar” – a handicapped shop teacher – on various wheelchair ramps. This, according to efemjay, is not ergonomic (“ergonomical”), which is why the lady in question has soreness.
