This song is about the vivid, trippy, euphoric experience that Mac had whilst on an unidentified drug (possibly LSD).
the drug is love …

The song “Vitamins” by Mac Miller is about a person’s experience with drugs and how it can take them on a journey outside of reality. The narrator is invited over to a woman’s house, where she offers him a pill. He takes it, and the effects send him on a surreal trip. He finds himself traveling through space and time and discovering a place outside of reality where he can escape his troubles. The lyrics show that, while the drug-induced journey is a source of pleasure, it is also an escape route and a means of dealing with his troubles. The song serves as a warning of the dangers of drug use, as drugs can provide an escape but also create further problems and difficulties.
