Armstrong is speaking to (now former) Patch Creative Director Abel Lenz, who he fired for taking a picture of him during this conference call. Lenz was allegedly only going to use the picture on Patch’s internal website, but Armstrong said
“Leaks are making Patch seem like ‘loser-ville’ in the press. That’s why Abel was fired. We can’t have people that are in the locker room giving the game plan away.”
Adding to the sad irony of the situation is the fact that a man named Abel Lenz was fired for an act of misguided photography.
