Jews and African-Americans both have a horrific history of oppression. The horrific Nazi persecution of Jews, culminating in the Final Solution, is well known
Meanwhile, American blacks dealt with the horrors of slavery and the Middle Passage, horrors that mostly just intensified after the founding of the American republic.
Under a certain logic (one that ignores the monumental strides towards racial equality made since the 1960s), blacks saluting the flag represent the same sort of sad delusion as hypothetical Jews saluting a Nazi banner.
As for blacks who wave Confederate flags with pride, Ras presumably has no words.
