Amy Poehler is long due for an Emmy.

She’s somehow won no major awards yet in her career! She was an SNL cast member from 2001 to 2009, serving as Weekend Update host along with Tina Fey starting in ‘04.

After leaving she went on to work on the hilarious Parks and Recreation, a show in the same vein as The Office, for which she plays Leslie Knope, a passionate public servant in Pawnee, Indiana. Her performance as Leslie has earned her nominations for this Emmy category three other times, two Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

The average (perhaps stereotypical) conservative in America is older and white. Hip-hop listeners, on the other hand, tend (or tended, at least) to be black and younger.

But, as Radel goes on to say, this is not the case for him or many others and it will continually become less of the case. Given that popular music has seen more of rap in the last decade, it is inevitable that people will eventually identify with it in some way – as Rep. Radel uses the revolutionary oldies to justify his opposition toward overburdening governance.

While artificial respiration (rescue breathing) certainly is not detrimental, it’s best for untrained rescuers on the scene to focus on chest compressions, which can be quite tiring themselves.

This push has been made only recently, and it is based on the notion that the blood stays oxygenated much longer than previously thought (at least long enough to supply the brain until more advanced help arrives), while without the flow of blood, nothing in the body is facilitated.

In 2005, the inital ratio of 15:2 compressions to rescue breaths was changed to 30:2, suggesting a shift toward compression-only CPR.
