The "daylight" comment stems from a July 15, 2012, story in the Washington Post about a meeting Obama held in 2009 with several Jewish leaders. The meeting was closed to the press, and there is no transcript of what was said. The Post story was based on interviews with people in the meeting. Here’s the relevant excerpt:

"If you want Israel to take risks, then its leaders must know that the United States is right next to them," Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, told the president.

Obama politely but firmly disagreed.

"Look at the past eight years," he said, referring to the George W. Bush administration's relationship with Israel. "During those eight years, there was no space between us and Israel, and what did we get from that? When there is no daylight, Israel just sits on the sidelines, and that erodes our credibility with the Arab states."

The White House does not confirm that Obama said those words. There also has been no explicit denial.

It’s correct that Romney more than balanced the the Salt Lake Organizing Committee’s budget. But that doesn’t tell the whole story, since he helped secure at least $400 million -- and possibly up to $1.5 billion -- in government funding to make the Olympics function that is not included in the balance sheet he’s touting. The statement is accurate but needs clarification or additional information.

And if he's planning on doing more and suggests to Russia that -- that he has things he's willing to do with them, he's not willing to tell the American people -- this is to Russia, this is, without question, our number one geopolitical foe. They -- they fight every cause for the world's worst actors. The I -- the idea that he has some more flexibility in mind for Russia is very, very troubling, indeed.

A reference to Popeye the Sailor, a 1930s cartoon character. Whenever Popeye was gettin' worked on by a villain, he’d shotgun some spinach, instantly get yolked as fuck, and ultimately turn the tables on the villain (see below for an example).

Meek loves to Flex aka show off. So much so, that he resembles Popeye.

JAKE is from Houston, Texas. Texas is known as The Lone Star State, a nickname it was given to signify Texas as a former independent republic and as a reminder of the state’s struggle for independence from Mexico.

This is a double entendre. JAKE is saying that he’s living his life like there’s a good likelihood that (A) he’ll achieve big success or (B) he’ll get like Biggie, which also means he’ll achieve big success but to a much higher degree.
