The phrase “go hard or go home” was popularized by E-40’s song of the same name. It means do something to the best of your ability and if you can’t, sayonara.

The iconic, independent, and empowered Queen of Pop has continuously recreated herself and image as an artist and does whatever-the-hell she wants.

The first line heard in the background of the chorus. As Ludacris once said:

Move bitch, get out the way
Get out the way bitch, get out the way

If you don’t make way for the Queen, there will be consequences from that uzi. Also a callback to her feature verse on “Bang Bang”.

Bang Bang is a onomatopoeia for the shooting sound of a “Uz(i).”

Somewhere between Los Angeles & Phoenix is where newcomer Kacy Hill cut her teeth as an artist. This particular song is her debut single as she has just recently started her pop career after a successful modeling career. The tune seems to occupy the space that Kelela and Jamie Woon have left in their wake.

Kanye West has recently signed Kacy Hill to G.O.O.D music, showing her promise and skill (and who would blame him):

In an interview with The Interview Kacy spoke about this song:

“Experience” was one of the earliest songs I wrote, and I just felt like it was an honest representation of me. It’s literally about experiencing life and taking everything for what it is, struggling through and not using anything as a crutch. At that point in my life it was really significant because I was struggling a lot. I felt really lost, and wasn’t sure which direction to go in, so it’s about all the experiences life can offer, whatever they are, and I wanted to portray that in the most honest way possible for me.

The “secrets” are their forbidden love affair. The imagery compliments their relationship as it’s in the dark of night and never out in the open. They are the only two who will know about it, sadly.

These lines depend on perspective: The mistress (possibly Charli) has either just flew out of the country for a little bit and wish she there with him or she’s flying in to be with him.

She is the side chick, but they both wish she was the main of this secret and distant romantic relationship.

One way of describing attraction between two people is “chemistry” due to a special connection. Lynn intensifies it to symbolize the complex emotion of love with chemicals—a reaction occurs, keeping her attached to them.

However, the feeling of loving someone is actually caused by chemicals in your body. The chemicals (endorphin/dopamine) in Lynn’s body create the feeling that makes her cling to the other person.

The début album from the Miami songstress Kat Dahlia which features her breakthrough single “Gangsta”.

it’s called My Garden. It’s plethora of sounds like a garden, you have some roses, you have some daisies, and some thorns. It evokes different emotions, different meanings, so it felt fitting. Then Kat Dahlia, ‘Oh hey, look it’s a theme.’ So I got that coming out in September.

[I see myself] connecting with people. It’s touching people in a way that either they’ve never felt before or that they’ve forgotten a long time ago. I don’t want to sound like a hippy but all of us artists aspire to change the world, not only with our music but hopefully with our actions, our presence, and our love. So that’s what I’m hoping for.

As you can see she had to cut the tracklist down.

Everyone believes the boy she’s in love with is a player and doesn’t truly love her back.

Nicki recently broke up with her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, who was supposedly tired of being in the background and wanted some of her fame.

The repetition of “play on” concludes that even though she is heartbroken, she continues to let him play the grand piano – her. She loves him and is willing to turn a blind eye, only to keep him by her side.

“Play on” is stripped from the phrase “play on player”

Pum pum is Patois for vagina. As per Rihanna’s demonstration, the dance is a show of confidence.

Don’t get too distracted by Ri-Ri. Continue to read.

The “wine” is a Caribbean dance descending from African dance culture. It focuses on the gyration of the hips to highlight the beautiful parts of a woman: hips, butt, and pelvis. The motion of wining can be up or down or with a roll.

Fun fact: It’s known as “djuking” (silent ’d') when the girls focus on the thrusting of the pum pum.
