Nigga Hold On. Wait.
That’s what I was saying because I didn’t know what to expect. I thought I was gonna get some teen R&B or something. What I got was some fire R&B from a singer with a nice flow and a dope as producer. Those feature verses from Problem (Problem featured on a track called “Problem” is a problem) and IamSu! were perfect for her album. On the flip side, I enjoyed that it wasn’t feature heavy.
Who knew someone would name a smooth heart-breaking R&B track, “Ricky Bobby” using his signature phrase from the movie, “If you ain’t first, you’re last” in a self-reflection about her mistakes.
That sample at the beginning of “Amnesia” which is cleverly looped laughter throughout the track is perfect. Love her switch-up in delivery on “Church.”
All I gotta say is if her delivery is this good on the EP, what’s the album gonna be like?
Definitely gonna have to check out Exposed
