Girls, specifically your girl, just want to have fun by cheating on you with Cam'ron. The video features a hilarious portrayal of this with the pathetic, controlling “Smoke” character.

This was the second single off of Purple Haze and the sequel to “Stop Calling”.

On Charlemagne’s sampling of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, Cam has stated, “I always loved the record … I was a wrestling fan, and Captain Lou Albano was in the video. At this point in my career, seeing what girls are doing, I thought it was time to bring it back out. They be wilding! I think it’s gonna be a good summer record.”

Wordplay on the NBA player Alonzo Mourning’s name

This is, ahem, very similar to a Pharell line in the song “Yes” Feat Lil Wayne:

Cause I got some supersize guys that’ll hit you with a combo
Pronto
You won’t see the morning like Alonzo

Also, both lines may be referring to the movie Training Day, in which Denzel Washington’s crooked cop character Alonzo must produce a sum of money for Russian gangsters by the morning otherwise he will be killed

Aston Martin is a British manufacturer of luxury cars, perhaps most famously the DBS that appeared in Casino Royale.

The idea is that you would listen to this song in your Aston Martin two seater with your girl and just ride out. Similarly to how Maybach Music is about stunting hard with your crew, this one is about that Bonnie and Clyde feel.

It could also be referring to the beautiful ‘music’ the Aston Martin’s engine produces.
