To “throw things” is to deal drugs

“King James” is native Akronite LeBron James; unlike King James, who throws white powder up in the air before games (which, by the way, is an unhealthy habit), the white powder Cam’s friends threw was cocaine

Cam'ron’s views about snitching are well known. Maybe Cam feels some camaraderie with Guy Fisher who, unlike his contemporaries Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes (who were depicted in American Gangster), refused to cooperate with police and is serving out a life sentence in prison

Harlem drug dealer Guy Fisher

This shout out is probably gratuitous self-promotion, since Cam'ron is slated to play Guy Fisher in an upcoming biopic

The opening line pays homage to Eric B. and Rakim’s classic track “Paid in Full”. The drum pattern here is similar to the original but slowed down slightly. Lil' Wayne carries on a more extended parallel in his feature on Lloyd’s “Girls Around the World”, which also samples the same drum pattern

Cam describes a 2005 incident in which he was shot while waiting at a red light in his Lamborghini in Washington, D.C.

In the first line, the two “they"s refer to different people. The first one is the shooters, the second is the attendants at the nightclub who parked the car on the night in question

He was on probation at the time in New York City, and his probation officer (P.O.) threatened to take action against him because he was not supposed to leave New York. Cam stonewalls her questions, just as President Nixon initially refused to answer questions about the Watergate scandal. As the President of Diplomat Records, apparently Cam feels entitled to executive privilege

Cam’s argument is that he was merely working. Going to nightclubs, wearing $200,000 in jewelery, driving a Lamborghini–just another day at the office

Game is inspired to keep working by thinking about how lucky he is to be alive.

His mom (Lynette Marie Baker) could have had an abortion, which would be understandable as she was facing the frightening reality of being a single mother.

This line also ties into the Tupac reference where he mentions that Brenda is still throwing baby’s in garbage, referencing the Tupac song, Brenda’s Baby, which talks about the struggles of a single mother and her eventual abandonment of her child.
