Project to remind people about the greatness of Pharrell Williams. All song selections were either produced by The Neptunes, Pharrell individually, or feature him.

To avoid controversies of song selections I will include every single song that they have done together in the annotations. All selections are my personal opinion, although I purposely tried to select songs that were released as singles when possible.

Los Angeles Clippers receive: Jeff Green
Memphis receives: Lance Stephenson and 2019 1st round pick

Jeff Green will be able to play small forward for the Clippers instead of power forward where he was starting in Memphis. Green will play big minutes because the clippers are in need of an impact small forward. They have been giving Paul Pierce and Wesley Johnson big minutes there lately. Lance Stephenson hopes to find success somewhere after his ‘breakout’ season in 2012.

Cleveland receives: Channing Frye
Portland receives: Anderson Varejao and a conditional Cleveland first round pick
Orlando receives: Jared Cunningham and Portland 2nd round pick

Frye is actually one of the players I respect the most in the NBA. He is a great three point shooter and can defend better than most stretch forwards. Frye will make a big impact in Cleveland and as a Heat fan with the rumours surrounding Chris Bosh and potential repeat of blood clotting I am definitely jealous that my rival is getting a player I like so much. Portland is expected to waive Varejao so they really only did the trade for the pick. Orlando gets a lot of cap relief by trading Frye.

Utah receives: Shelvin Mack
Atlanta receives: 2nd round pick

I read earlier that Utah is trying to trade PG Trey Burke and that they are close to a deal with Houston to swap him for Ty Lawson. This trade will give them depth in case that Lawson doesn’t succeed or if that trade falls through just gives them depth because they are actually in the playoff hunt in the west currently.

Detroit receives: Marcus Thornton and Donatas Motiejunas
Houston receives: A 2016 first round pick and Joel Anthony

The Pistons are making a playoff push and are acquiring as many valuable players for a 2016 playoff run as they can. Motiejunas provides them with a solid power forward who will add depth to the front court behind Andre Drummond and take some of the pressure of off him. Detroit had also acquired Tobias Harris on Tuesday. Marcus Thornton also provides them with a proven shooter for their bench.

The Rockets come out of the deal with a draft pick and shed some unwanted players. It appears that Houston wants to shake things up with it’s current roster and a lot of teams in the west are acquiring as many draft picks as possible since the Spurs and Warriors seem to be running away with the conference. Joel Anthony shouldn’t be much of a factor unless more injures occur for Houston.

Miami receives: nothing
Memphis receives: Jarnell Stokes

More cap relief for Miami. Really nothing to see here, as Stokes was not playing at all for the Heat.

Trade impact: Memphis needs to get younger and gets some nice pieces from this trade. Memphis knows that it isn’t going to beat San Antonio or Golden State in the playoffs this year so they are smart to be making moves with the future in mind here.

*Albums are listed (somewhat) chronologically to when i listened to them; there is no order *
