Future Ex-Wife by Intuition (Ft. Travis Brown)

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline announced their engagement only 3 months after meeting. The couple had a negatively- received reality series, Briney & Kevin: Chaotic, which lasted only five episodes. The marriage, however, did manage to last a remarkable 2 years before Britney filed for a divorce.

I rather buy 80 gold chains and go ign'ant
I know Spike Lee gone kill me but let me finish
Clique by Kanye West (Ft. Big Sean & Jay Z)

Ye’s use of the word “ign'ant” reinforces and signifies that he really doesn’t care what people think as it’s ignorant to pronounce the word “ignorant” “ign'ant” (much like “aks”). Ig'nant is also phonetically similar to ingots, the bars that valuable metals (like gold) are cast in.

Also, Spike Lee, who has been very outspoken about race relations and portrayal of black Americans in the media, probably wouldn’t appreciate black figures in pop culture blowing their money on gold chains, or being ‘igonrant’ of society.

Also, peep the play on Yeezy’s famous (for better or worse) lines “let you finish”. Note that Ye’s at the point in his verse where Big Sean and Jay-Z finished their verses. Here, he really does ask to finish, his verse going on where theirs stopped.

“go ig'nant” could be a play on gold ingots
