ScHoolboy’s one and only verse on this song is used to capture how he developed from a mindless gangbanger to someone that has aspirations and can make a living for himself without his life being in severe danger. Even in his final form as a prospering rapper, his demons from the past still antagonize him by using what he used to be against him.

The metaphor of the picture in full frame symbolizes the aspirations Paak has, but his distorted vision is due to all of the hood environment around him, which goes back to the introduction of the track.

Also note the distorted vision could be because he’s inebriated, unable to change his ways despite his want for change.

Q calls out all the people claiming they’re something they’re not, such as a hot artist, being a cold blooded thug, or having remotely flashy jewelry. The only way to truly attract women is to have the proof; the more money and luxury, the thicker and more attractive the women.

It’s truly pathetic in Q’s eyes when people can’t afford to live by themselves and leech off others to stay afloat, especially when they hate on another man’s success when they won’t even try to earn theirs. Unlike Q who was able to turn his life around, people who leech aren’t able to mature into respectable people and play apart in why the hood remains a shady place.
