Kanye’s idea of “being out of his mind” is to create and innovate. Whether that means convincing people to let him rap or signing a deal with a major apparel company.

Online blogs that offer opinions on whether Kanye should quit making music only seem to only fuel his energy level.

In his career as a fashion designer, bloggers have been falling over themselves to criticize his collections. Cathy Horyn even said this:

This second round of drab, broken-down basics proved he can’t be taken seriously as a designer.

Ye’s response was simple.

I don’t read the reviews

Pablo Escobar was a notorious Colombian drug lord. At one point in time, he controlled over 80% of the world’s cocaine trade, making close to $420 million dollars a week in revenue.

Escobar responded to his own “fame”/notoriety by embracing the material luxuries afforded to him by his success (he owned a diamond encrusted Rolex worth $70,000,) while also ensuring that he stayed protected from anyone who wanted to threaten his lifestyle (purchasing a Rottweiler for an attack dog).

Kanye draws parallels between himself and Escobar, highlighting how they handle their fame by becoming more aggressive. Instead of buying an attack dog to defend himself, Kanye responds to fame and unwanted attention by becoming more wild and unpredictable in public, à la the 2009 Taylor Swift incident, 2013 Sway Interview and the 2016 SNL “Meltdown” where he mentioned Escobar, saying:

Are they fucking crazy? Bro, by fifty percent. Stanley Kubrick, Apostle Paul, Picasso, fucking Picasso, and Escobar. By fifty percent, more influential than any other human being.

Kanye address his “wild” ways on “Wolves”:

If mama knew now
How you turned out, you too wild

While offering a callback to the intro skit off 2005’s Late Registration (something he has done before), Kanye calls on followers to perk their ears up again three years after his last solo album Yeezus left them divided.

Standalone singles between albums such as “All Day” were met with mixed reviews, but the quality of releases since like “Real Friends” have got fans excited again—Yeezy season has arrived.

“The good news” is the literal meaning of the word “gospel” (in the original Ancient Greek, “gospel” is a combination of the words good + message).

Of course, “the good news” can also refer to the newspaper, which is normally retrieved in the morning—after you wake up. “Paper” is also used as slang for money, and Yeezy is no stranger to getting his money right, whether it’s in the morning or another time of day.

Really, I think we get it at this point. Wiz is always rolling up joints, even while recording an album, and is constantly hustling in the rap industry.

With more elite teams these days, you would think the Lakers comparison would become obsolete.

Fly that bitch to LA she ballin like a Laker – Brian Nichols

When I be out in Jamaica and ballin' like I’m like a Laker – Meek Mill

Clique ballin' out, like the ‘98 Lakers – Juicy J

Ect.,….

Considering all he’s accomplished alone in 2015, Wiz feels as though there isn’t much left that can prove how genuine of a person he is. He works hard, stays down for his family, and never takes life for granted, all while keeping it 100.

The best approach to take when dealing with Tech is to simply ignore him, as he will try to reinforce later in the second verse. If you’re a woman who not only likes intercourse, but also a meaningful relationship, Tech is not your guy. After all, how can you expect him to be when he hardly has himself together, having his only known label being a vulgar human being.

Also notice Tech’s usage of “my kiss is killing you”, as if making a connection to the Kiss of Judas that led to a deep betrayal – much like Tech is betraying these multitudes of women once he’s done with them.

The girl is left desperate, having her ideal relationship turn into a nightmare because of the menacing Tech. Yet, for all Tech has put her through, she still seems to want him, regardless of how much further personal corruption it will cause her later down the line.

Tech seems be in a constant battle with himself as he builds off the previous lines by now not wanting to scare them off, but instead use them as he wishes. You can see Tech’s devilish morals coming into play as he speaks on feeding on multiple woman at a fast pace until he drains very last drop of innocence from them.

His intentions are to drag a girl of his choosing into his world of darkness and only release her when he has had his fill, like a true animal.

I’m an angel/demon, man
You know what I’m sayin', what makes me a demon is lust

Tech knows there’s something twisted about his undying lust for other women, but when they throw themselves at him, requesting him for sexual needs, he can’t help but let himself go.

Likewise, some women do realize who they’re messing with, but still choose to get romantically involved anyways, only to get badly heartbroken later on.

The hook and chorus entail an abusive relationship between Sia and her significant other, symbolized by a house on fire that is burning to the ground. Sia states that this person is oxygen and that she needs them to help her burn, much chemically like how all fire needs oxygen. This person is what’s causing for her to emotionally breakdown, but she’s too addicted to the feeling to leave.

This also could be branching off from the Sia song “Fire Meet Gasoline”, as she is also burning down a house due to relationship pressures.
