Saul clarifies that the tale of Slippin' Jimmy was actually a reflection of his past life as a scammer. The hospital bills would mean he faked a serious accident for cash, but he confirms to Chuck, as we know from watching, that he’s got the wrong idea.

With this scene we see how Saul’s ordinary life is being affected by the traumatizing events that had occurred just earlier that day. He uses this cheap date as a way to forget, but ultimately ends up making his uneasiness even worse as the breadsticks remind him of Lars and Cal’s legs being broken.

This event clearly sticks in Saul’s memory for years, as he has an uncharacteristic freak out in S3E13 of Breaking Bad when Mike warns him:

Saul, don’t make me beat you until your legs don’t work.

These acts propose that this is a common routine Saul goes through: making a statement in Chuck’s defense to HHM about giving him the money he deserves, being shut down, senselessly kicking the same trash can, and sharing a smoke with Kim.

This also marks a pre-established friendship between Saul and Kim who are obviously on different sides of the battlefield, so to speak.

Saul comes off as cool and collected to his clients, but the slow-motion signing process exposes his desperation and need for some income.

It seems by Betsy’s reaction that she picked up on some of his desperation, thus making them take their business elsewhere later in the program.

This, obviously being Saul’s memory box, shows how he still misses the old life he had before his debacle with Walter. Although stressful, Saul still wishes he was living with the criminalized danger of his old lawyer gig instead of his boring life as a cinnabon maker.

Also, this foreshadows how Saul’s life will become a giant wreck of insane events soon to come, giving viewers a sense of suspense before covering basic backstory.

Anyone that believes Ferg isn’t at the peak of success is sadly mistaken. He’s been able to get up close and personal with the famous Khloe Kardashian and, although pretending, could have sex with her if he wanted to dis all the haters.

Notice wordplay as Meek is in his expensive ‘car, dashing’ past the haters while also potentially being physically in a ‘Kar-dashian’ sister.

Here, T.I. indulges in the glory of his success in which he has so graciously earned. The cocaine he dealt in his old days allowed him to gain much success and do nothing more but bask in it. This song reflects much of the theme of this album which looks back more in depth into TIP’s childhood and always results in his current success.

Not only this, but the cocaine he was selling in his younger days acts as the foundation for T.I.’s business principles and ultimately it became a way for him to properly run a business with him being on top as the boss.
