This line, in relation to the story, is a reference to The Capitol in which Katniss is leading the rebellion against. Snow disguises himself by giving off the appearance of staying strong, but really he’s shaken up about the idea of having a rebellion just as much as Katniss is.

Katniss appears to be confident to the public through the propos, but throughout the movie, we learn that this isn’t true. She has numerous mental breakdowns, especially when they relate to Peeta.

Finally, opera music is known for its lengthiness and drama, making it a perfect metaphor for the secrets that both Katniss and Snow hide. Opera singers are also known for the extravagance and excessive costumes. Both put on a show, but secretly are suffering.

Sean plays on the dual meanings of “firing” to speak to the desperation of his city. In Sean’s view, all that getting a promotion means is that you’re a more attractive target to rob, and bullets will soon be fired at you.

Additionally, unemployment is so high in the D that you could get fired from your job days after moving up the ladder. Both interpretations show that for every good thing that happens to you in this city, a bad thing will follow to even it out.

But despite all the evidence to the contrary, Sean still declares Detroit a safe place to live in. Since he’s probably wrong about this, he would be a terrible home plate umpire, since their entire job revolves around deciding who is safe at home plate and who isn’t.

Breaking Bad is a television series in which the main character, Walter White, chose to team up with one of his old students to make meth in order to postpone cancer and ultimately leave his family with some money after he passes away. Its series finale alone was able to break the record for most views per episode by having an audience of 10.7 million people.

Basically, the show poses to be an influential nightmare as every episode involves either sex, guns, and/or plenty of drugs. Because of this, people of all ages in the ghetto can be impressioned that making drugs is a solution to their financial issues, and thus Lupe doesn’t want to hear your excuse that it’s politics that are causing this corruption when the media portrays it way more vividly.

Lupe is also challenging the double standard between white and black drug dealers. Somebody like Walter White is seen as someone trying to provide for his family, whereas a kid in the hood is seen as a greedy thug, when the opposite would be more likely.

In his younger days, Pusha’s mind was filled with exotic fantasies of becoming wealthy and successful, two things unimaginable due to the scummy job he had as a dope dealer.

However, he knew he was on the right path due to his vast knowledge, also working as contribution to the extent of his fantasy lifestyle.

Note that his “genius” could have arose from the mathematical skills used when in the drug business (i.e. measuring grams of coke, balancing his financials, ect.).

With “the lil .45 in T.I’s jeans”, he wasn’t scared to shoot at anyone who got in the way of his dreams, which were to become rich and successful.

This also may have been in dedication to his Uncle Quint in which T.I. would stop at nothing to full fill the morals taught to him by his Uncle as a sort of vengeance.

This also shows T.I. growing numb to his surroundings in the ghetto as a kid, especially during his escapade as a drug dealer.

TIP has been in the game for so long that he is practically an expert. He has dealt with people that have double crossed him or even disrespected him, so he has adapted the skills that of a trained military soldier (hence the dog tags and camouflage) in order to seek revenge without drawing attention.

He is so notorious for his attacks that he has people looking out for him 24/7. If someone like this was to stumble across T.I, they better evacuate the premise before he shoots them up like the ruthless G he is.

Again, this relates to how T.I. stays true to his gangster heritage by taking these risks at all costs even in his his position of fame. He asks “what you call that?” rhetorically, as the answer is obviously G' Shit.

Relating to the songs theme, TIP assures us that he still has a few of his trusty assault rifles at hand in case he needs to express his inner G. His firearms are so intimidating that they will cause you to run away out of fear, simply by getting a glimpse of them when he pulls it out.

Irony comes into play considering T.I. was arrested back in 2007 due to these gun possessions. Well, at least we know he holds true to his word!

The hook makes it clear that this song is a dedication to all the people creating hip-hop music of our generation and lacking the gangster style T.I. was accustomed with growing up.

However, this may not be the kind of toast one appreciates considering it basically explains how these rappers aren’t productive in their “G' Shit”, or in other words fulfilling these gangster-like roles that these 3 (WatchTheDuck, T.I., & Jeezy) experienced when they were growing up and incorporated in their music.

As a result, they offer to become the Gangster Shit today’s music is lacking and show these fakes how it’s done (a partial reflection of how these guys are still true to their gangster heritage).

Note how on T.I.’s last project, Trouble Man: Heavy is The Head, he also had a song called “G Season”, showing how he is in constant effort for us to not forget he is still an OG.

T.I.’s previously stated words of wisdom are now related to his very own life as he himself was able to over come life testes and even become more successful because of them. For instance, the struggle of growing up for T.I in the southern suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia proposed an unlikely environment for anyone to become successful.

However, TIP oversaw this challenge and was able to become the wealthy man that he is today because of it.

Being busy, that doesn’t complicate your life as much as just confusion and lack of understanding within your internal personal circle. As long as the people around you know what to expect of you and understand what you expect of them.

When you see T.I., you know he is 100% authentic. The secret to his success is truly just hard work, which really is no secret at all, but rather common sense that people fail to acknowledge. What you see when looking at him is true dedication and hard work, in other words what it truly means to be a king!
