The “black moon” refers to a darkness or even Hell as it contains the devil within it. His blood runs cold because his soul is trying to be taken or he is betraying the thoughts he has had his whole life.

“No light” could refer to the light that people claim to see at the end of their life to go to Heaven, so he has been denied or is controlled by the Devil and cannot go.

Phil Jackson was Michael’s professional basketball coach for a long time and was legendary, while his college coach at UNC was legendary at that level, Dean Smith.
