#It’s just so cute people.

I love she had her daughter feature on it, take the soundclip from her brother, the intense, personal lyrics. It’s just something about this song. When an artist gives you something so personal and such a big piece of their life I feel like it’s impossible for the listener to not have some sort of connection with it.

Plus, Jhene the immortal gawdess so, yeah, her vocals buttery smoove. Just perfection on this.

Cole’s at his best when you can feel the emotion in his voice. Both of these songs said some real shit that not many people are willing to say.

He even back up his shit in Be Free by attending protests. The piano in that too raw coupled with those lyrics. He cares.

Love Yourz, (not officially out yet, please don’t arrest me), is so honest, it’s like his own version of “i” but you can tell he didn’t draw off it. Just, the lyrics aren’t lyrics, it’s life:

Always gon' be a bigger house somewhere, but nigga feel me
Long as the people in that motherfucker love you dearly
Always gon' be a whip that’s better than the the one you got
Always gon' be some clothes that’s fresher than the ones you rock
Always gon' be a bitch that’s badder out there on the tours
But you ain’t never gon' be happy till you love yours

Now the perspective shifts. We move from someone trying to live an honest life to the gunman in the first hook. Cole always knew the Ville had violence.

The last song was still the perspective of the Ville boy. This song’s first verse comes from someone chasing their dreams in NY, and now we get the voice of someone still hustling out in NC, like his old friend.

This fits in with the theme of “two citiez” and the drastic differences between their citizens and environment.

The tagline for the game’s holiday ad after the rap was:

Get the season you always wanted.

If anyone hasn’t bought the game, it’s still not too late to make this NFL season yours.
