Overflow ya like the Amazonas, no slowness, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

The Amazon River (Spanish / Portuguese: Amazonas) is the longest river in the world and by far the largest by waterflow. The line describes a play-off with the word flow — just like the Amazonas' huge water masses will flow, Black Papillon will flow over you with his raps.

No slowness implies that he stays in a constant rhythm and won’t break down his voice or cadence at specific part, he’ll keep his solid and well-paced flow.

I blow rap so wicked, hope for that career ticket, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

As already explained above, Black Papillon always gives his best, and tries to spit his raps in the most wicked ways and keep it real. He also still hopes making it one day and collecting his career ticket to success…

I hold stacks of critic to control tracks I exhibit, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

Black Papillon is always open for some critique about his work and rap. It doesn’t really matter if it’s from the internet and Rapgenius, he also takes the advice from real life friends, puts it in work and gives his best to control the stuff he’ll be putting out.

He will release a couple of songs, soon, by the way…

Gold bags of lyrics, in my way I fold cracks like Riddick, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

Gold is a precious noble metal, and implies in this line, that Black Papillon’s lyrics are from a high quality.

Riddick is the antihero of four films in the Riddick series, played by Vin Diesel. Just as he folds and defeat all his enemies and problems (cracks) outta his way, BlackP will do the same with his haters / enemies. And if you’ve seen Riddick-Movies already, then you surely know what this man’s about…

My flow’s butter, flyin’ through the whole track, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

Double Entendre:

  1. BlackP’s flow is butter, and it’s “flying” (flowing) through the whole track. If your flow is butter, then it means that your flow is in the perfect rhythm and just crosses perfectly through the whole song / verse / w/e.

  2. It also sounds like “My flow’s butterflyin' through the whole track”. And as you probably know — Papillon is French and stands for Butterfly.

There's no peace or hope, people waitin' fo' me like G's fo' a Ki of Coke, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

There ain’t no peace or hope for the competition when Black P is busting through, so let the battle begin!

A ki of Coke means a kilogram of Cocaine. The slang term ki is generally used for the drugs Crack and Cocaine. G’s (Gangsters) in the hood, for example, are waiting often for a ki of Coke and its delivery, because:

  1. They’re addicted to it, and simply need it for living

  2. They’re waiting for the delivery, so they can sell it to other people while making money with it

Now people are waiting — just like the G’s for a ki of coke — for BlackP to spit.

Flowin' so hard outta my lung, I need a stethoscope, RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

A stethoscope is a medical device to listen to the internal sounds of a human body. It’s most often used to listen to the lung, to see if there are any issues with it and the breathing is okay, for example.

Black Papillon is implying, that his flow goes so fluent, well-paced and hard that he needs a stethoscope to check whether his lung’s status is still okay or not…

Note: I purposely pronounced “stethoscope” like this, because otherwise, it wouldn’t have rhymed with the multisyllabics in the next line

Ayo, man, I spit like a llama!
RG Rap Battle - Round 0 by Black Papillon 17

This is a small wordplay on spit;

Just as a llama spits (a pretty huge amount), I’ll be spittin' (rapping) my bars ‘n my flow…

This is also a double entendre!

While llama can refer to the animal, it can ALSO refer to Llama Firearms, a now bankrupt arms company. Their guns are made to fire out bullets rapidly, just like how Black Pap spits!

I cum like a thousand doves Reunited by Wu-Tang Clan

He arrives to his mom at the Church like a 1000 doves, a welcome and holy sight despite his badness. He’s less likely talking about an ejaculation

Cocked the strap, then he ran out the back

Sat on the floor near my dead girl, put her in my arms
Pulled her ring out my pocket I was savin
Put it on her ring finger cocked the Glock, and started prayin
Undying Love by Nas

These lines are letting us imagine a similar, known scene; Al Pacino’s role as Tony Montana in Scarface.

While each of his bodyguards have been killed, he was locked alone in his room because somebody shot his beloved sister. His rival enemies busted into his house and killed anyone who they saw. When his closest bodyguard wanted to hide into Tony’s room, he got shot because he failed to enter it since it was locked. He was screaming for help, but Tony didn’t even realize anything and was holding his dead sister in his hands (just like Nas) is holding his dead girl in his arms and is putting his $20.000 ring on the finger of her, crying and praying. The 2 differences:

  1. Tony’s sister has been shot by an enemy sneaking up behind himself outta his window (Tony then shot him and he fell down). Nas shot his girl by himself!

  2. Nas prayed and suicided later then when the cops busted in, but Tony took revenge on all his rival enemies, killing as many as he could until he has been shot to death

These two differences still are giving me the same scenario and imagines in front of my eyes
