Despite starting out with a 7-3 lead with about 6 minutes left in the first quarter, the Tennessee Volunteers would not be able to score again until the fourth quarter.

The Oregon offense started off slow until QB Marcus Mariota hooked up with TE John Mundt late in the first quarter to give Oregon the 10-7 lead over Tennessee to end the quarter

Then once the second quarter started the floodgates opened with Oregon scoring 28 and 21 points in the second and third quarter respectively, making it a 59-7 lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Tennessee would score again in the fourth but didn’t score again making the game end with the Ducks winning 59-14, going 3-0 with Tennessee dropping to 2-1 on the season

Oregon QB Marcus Mariota ended the game throwing for 456 yards and 4 TD’s in the win over Tennessee

Despite the injury to Braxton Miller, backup QB Kenny Guiton was able to move the Ohio State offense up and down the field against the Cal defense over in Memorial Stadium over in Berkley.

Ohio State started off quick, scoring 24 points in the first quarter to lead Cal 24-14 at the end of the first quarter.

After that followed a quiet second quarter with Ohio State only able to score a TD and Cal only getting 2 FG, making the score 31-20 going into the second half, giving Cal a chance to be able to comeback.

Starting the third quarter was Ohio State who would go on and get a TD on the opening drive and would end up scoring a couple more TD’s with cal only able to score just one TD, making it 52-27 at the end of the third quarter.

The fourth quarter would end up with Cal only being able to score a TD with about 6-7 minutes left in the game and was not able to score again, making the game end with Ohio State winning 52-34, making Ohio State 3-0 on the season with Cal falling to 1-2.

Although this game was host to a large crowd it wasn’t the largest crowd at Kyle Field. That honor goes to the 2010 game between #8 Nebraska and #19 Texas A&M where The Aggies squeezed one out in a 9-6 victory over the Cornhuskers, this game was known to have hosted a crowd of about 90,000-plus fans in the stadium. Probably because the Bama @ A&M tickets average price was a stellar 763$, reaching peaks of 1300$.

The whole line is actually a reference to the Pakinamac Pt. 2 Skit off of Big Pun’s first album “Capital Punishment” in which he says that he’s “Packin a mac [Pakinamac] in the back of the Ac [meaning Acura].”
