Hopsin asserts that this track is going to be a “20-1-3 classic” (a classic track of 2013). This is irrefutable as any Tech/Hop collaboration is undoubtedly going to be one of the years best tracks.

This line is often misinterpreted as a reference to the Los Angeles area code 213 (which is repped by Dr. Dre in “Still D.R.E.” and by the late Nate Dogg in “Regulate”), which while not only making less sense in context is also undoubtedly wrong if the Hopsin/SwizZz track “California” is referenced, where Hopsin raps “Since I was a little nigga I been repping 818”, confirming…

Eminem is saying he is not history. He’s the present, and he’s still killing the rap game.

After the release of Eminem’s record, Relapse, in 2009 many people considered him irrelevant in the rap game. Em knows this and struggles to reclaim the popularity that he once had.

The track Rap God also off of MMLP2 contains related lyrics:

You get too big and here they come trying to censor you
Like that one line I said on “I’m Back” from the Mathers LP1
Where I tried to say I take seven kids from Columbine
Put ‘em all in a line, add an AK-47, a revolver and a nine
See if I get away with it now that I ain’t as big as I was

Eminem was at his peak in the industry around the time of the first Marshall Mathers LP. Even on the explicit version of the track I’m Back the words kids and Columbine were censored to silence. Interestingly enough, since he isn’t as big as he was and the horrific incident isn’t as fresh he was able to get away with it this time.

You don’t have the:

  • Guts (bravery)

  • Intestinal blockage: nonchalant attitude. Constipation might seem like a bad thing, but it’s all about the wordplay – by having intestinal blockage, you quite literally cannot give a shit.

Since he’s been putting out music at a very slow rate, he’s going to speed it up and put out more music.

ACCEPTED COMMENT: As a result of putting out more music, SwizZz will begin to become more well known and that means more money.

When the money comes he’ll have to get used to a life that is acquainted with more women, drugs, and partying.

You have to have done hip hop for a while to gain his respect. You have to prove yourself before he’ll approve of you, much the way Jarren proved himself to FV with “Freebasing With Kevin Bacon”.
