Of course, Reason mourned as they buried his friend. Here’s where the descriptive language comes in:

• Reason may not have cried actual tears physically. But in a metaphorical sense. Just like the family, he too would like to know what happened to his friend and move on. But instead, no one what happened and so this makes him angry and hurt. Dashes of pain. He also uses this to show the feeling that the family must be going through.

• He could also be comparing this feeling to that of the taste of cheap Tequilla which very well known to be very sharp tasting. So the Tequilla, without the dash of salt (pain), represents the sharp anger Reason had. The dash of salt represents the pain which doesn’t make the Tequilla taste that great, but makes it bitter enough to drink. So just as much as Reason and his friends family have all that anger, they have to move on even though it is painful.

As Reason was going through these emotions, he was also confused. Which is the third feeling the family must be going through as well. Especially his friends' mother.

Here, Reason describes one of reasons as to why he didn’t have such a great year. As said, Reason lost a friend. But as to how, no one knows and the autopsy and the story that the family has been given are two different things. This has now caused conflict between the family and the friends of Reasons friend. The family wants the truth, for closure, but the friends who know what happened are hiding it.

Lyricist of the year, fire music, big shows, Reason has had a good year musically. But personally, it wasn’t all that great.

Even though Mandela is a world icon, Reason can’t possibly pay respect to Madibs' without paying respect to his son first.

As the news of Madibs' passing began to sink in, people like ShowTibz Love shared their encounters with Madiba. However it seems Dimplez tweeted earlier that morning about how met Mr. Mandela without any knowledge that Madibs' would pass on that night. So in that sense, it is shocking. Imagine if you were talking about someone you know an hour ago just to hear that that specific person has passed on. That’s kinda scary ain’t it?

Many people who were asked about Madibs' death said that they were “shocked.” In this case, the word “shocked” was used inappropriately because Madibs' had been in hospital since June/July till August and so we knew the former-president was not well. Many politicians and people who commented on his death often used this word when they didn’t know what to say, or if they didn’t mean what they said.
