Note how stealthily and deftly he flips the rhyme around in that last line, from the i/i/ow of “time/might/now” and “style/wipe/down” and “times/might/crowned” to the ow/ow/i of “out/town/while” which then leads to the next scene and its “smile/child” line ends.

Also could be a nod to his mentor, Kanye West. In the final verse of “Gone” on Late Registration, West says, “I'ma open up a store for aspiring MCs / Won’t sell ‘em no dream, but the inspiration is free / But if they ever flip sides like Anakin / You’ll sell everything including the mannequin.”

Finally, it may be a reference to Minute Maid, a house cleaning service. This conjures the image of a house slave.

So minute maid is a company based in Houston Texas that does have the namesake for the Houston Astros, they do have offices in Houston and he states she is working there.

Historically though, this line is actually a historical pun because it is based in sugar land a suburb of Houston that used to be plantations, quite literally comparing her to a slave.

This is 100% Minute Maid Park. It’s about Houston rappers. He also mentions the Galleria mall and move his momma to the Woods, most likely the north suburb, The Woodlands, where Chamillionaire and a few other rappers have had mansions.

Minute Maid is a reference to maid service temp work, where you would have to work twelve hour days to survive. This is a reference to J-Z’s mom, who used to clean hotel rooms.
