Simz is saying here that staying within your own happy space or ‘wonderland’ is a good place to be occasionally but when it takes you away from reality and makes you ignore the problems you have to face, then there comes a time where you need to leave your wonderland and come back to reality to deal with your problems and also to look out for your own people.

Dizzee Rascal is often regarded as a veteran in the UK grime scene. The East End rapper released his classic debut album ‘Boy In Da Corner’ in 2003 to critical acclaim. The album also won Dizzee the Mercury prize. It is definitely the best place to start in Dizzee’s discography as it is seen as his best album. With his powerful street narrative of issues faced in the UK, eccentric delivery and grimy beats, you can’t really go wrong with this album.

Songs to check out:
- I Luv U
- Sittin' Here
- 2 Far (Ft. Wiley)

After Boy In Da Corner, make sure you all check out his second album ‘Showtime’ which is almost as good as his classic debut (it is also more accessible). While Dizzee’s music has arguably declined in quality over the years, he is certainly worth listening to.
