This line is taking the piss out of songs where a rapper or DJ finishes off the track with stupid speeches as the Outro. It often ends in “Damn we killed that shit!” or something like this so MF Doom got Cucumber Slice to take the mick out of this kind of song. The villain can take the piss if he wants.

According to the bible, Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He took the sins upon the cross but despite the fact that He died, He came back to life and went to heaven.

People who do not understand this story may think that Jesus going to heaven means that he is dead but according to the bible, he lives eternally and was God in human form. God is an invisible but all-powerful being who is everywhere and therefore walks among us even if we do not yet realize it.

The phrase “Talk is cheap” comes from the idea that actions speak louder than words. Talking is for people who are not willing to act upon what they are saying. This line shows that he is going to keep quiet so he does not have to act upon what he is saying so all he does is smile when he meets his girl. This could also be a continuation of the previous line about hiding the dead body, they are not going to talk about it, they are actually going to do it.

PROPOSED SUGGESTION: Talk is cheap, so instead of talking, he shows off his grill by smiling, which isn’t cheap, therefore showing off his material wealth.

Pharoahe Monch once felt that he was an insignificant person because of his mental disorder at the time that this song was set so he felt almost “invisible” as he got the impression that people didn’t care about him.

The phrase “What Dreams May Come” comes from Shakespeare play “Hamlet” and is also the title of a film What Dreams May Come which is a film about suicide and life after death. The phrase from Hamlet was also used in the context of suicide when Hamlet thought about ending his own life. This suggests that Pharoahe Monch felt so invisible that he debated suicide to discover what happens after you die.

Another intertextual allusion is to Ralph Ellison’s classic, Invisible Man, which is a novel about an unnamed black man who is enveloped in a world of chaos and social discord, yet rendered largely “invisible” by the forces of racial discrimination in the early 20th century.

Kidding = having kids
A woman on birth control is never kidding as it is a serious thing to consider.
Logic is never kidding because he doesn’t joke around because he wants to be taken seriously in the rap game.

This refers to catholic priests who have been accused of sexually abusing vulnerable children and using their authority in the church to make people doubt the fact that they would abuse children as this does not seem like a very christian thing to do. People would never expect a man of God to do such a thing.

In live performances of this song, Akala has replaced the line “I’m a despicable character” with a much more volatile “To have sex with children” to really drive the point home.

A lot of Tech homies died and they’re now in their graves, one of them was Brian B'zl Dennis. In Tech music you can hear this name in few songs like “The Martini” or “Riot Maker”. It could be reference to his days when he gang-banged, for sure some of his blood homies were killed in street fight.

At the other end a lot of his brothers are in their prime. He is talking about his friends in rap game like his label mates Krizz Kaliko or Kutt Calhoun who are in their rap prime just like Tech now.
