Very expensive shades, Like Lil Wayne’s Marc Jacob goggles. “Millionaire Frames” are also a Louis Vuitton line and cost a dreadful $2000.

This is a continuation of the previous line’s theme too, because not only are Billionaire Boys Club clothing and Millionaire sunglasses named similarly, they are both designed by Pharrell Williams. Wale’s combination is therefore notable for its aesthetic compatibility as well as its aspirational branding and price.

Like magician David Blaine, or rather Blaine’s television persona, Lupe always has “a trick up his sleeve.” While a magician would often literally have the secret to one of his feats concealed in his sleeve or elsewhere on his person, Lupe Fiasco’s hidden tricks are concealed in his mind and embedded in his lyrics.

Moreover, so many “trick” lyrics are falling out of Lupe’s proverbial sleeves that it feels like a heavy rain has come through.

“Make it rain” is also one of the most exhaustedly used lines in modern rap music. This could be a satirical pun that goes well with the entire “dumb it down” concept.

TWO POSSIBILITIES:

  • It’s a pain in the ass to go through metal detectors when he has to take off so many chains, watches, bracelets, and rings beforehand. For rappers, it’s a sign of status to not have to go through metal detectors at clubs, because their fame and influence allow them to circumvent it.

  • Although he may look like a good person to rob, what with the jewels and the lack of bodyguards, Jeezy is by no means defenseless. When he says he doesn’t do security, he means he doesn’t HIRE any.

FN Herstal, often referred to as FN or FNH, is a well-known Belgian firearms manufacturer. Jeezy carries one of their guns with him for protection.
Given his ties to the Black Mafia Family, it seems likely that the FNH in question is the Five SeveN pistol. This model is popular among well-to-do drug dealers for its high capacity and for the unique 5.7 cartridge it fires, which is purported (with varying levels of truth) to penetrate body armor more easily than most other pistol rounds.

One of these pistols was found in the BMF headquarters during a 2005 raid.

It’s likely that this means Lil Wayne has a new Glock pistol. Glock makes handguns with a two-part “Safe Action Trigger,” which looks like this:

The forward protrusion, when viewed from a certain angle, resembles a hairpin

Plenty of rappers name-check Glock in their songs, but this is a slightly subtler approach.

It alludes to both the trigger’s appearance and its light pull, and the sound of the line suits Wayne’s voice especially well.

In order to uphold his reputation as “sushi king,” Cam needs to keep his victims fresh before he serves them up, just like sushi-grade fish.

It could also mean that before he tosses you in the river, he’ll grab all of your “fresh” (cool/expensive) jewelry, shoes, clothes, etc.
