Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow are both succesful professional athletes that have lead their teams on several win streaks.

Shad himself has had a succesful couple of years, with his last album, 2010’s TSOL being nominated for a Polaris Music Prize and beating Drake at the 2011 Juno Awards for Best Rap Album. Shad is hence comparing his own success to that of Lin’s and Tebow’s.

Rosa Parks was an African-American social activist, who stood up for her rights and refused to get off a bus after being ordered to, so that a white person could take her seat.

By telling us “please don’t get off the bus” Shad implies that we should continue to fight for change in because there are still a lot of wrongs to be righted in society.

Pharrell is using obvious autotune in this when he doesn’t have to — he’s a great singer. The autotune is used to show that he’s hiding emotions and motives that Pusha is describing i.e.

Tryna act normal but the writing’s on the wall

and when Pharrell says

Can’t you hear it in my tone?

God body is a reference to the Nation of Gods and Earths adjective used to describe a man who has Knowledge of Self.

Jay Z recently had a similar line on Heaven

Arm, leg, leg, arm, head – this is God body

These lyrics exemplify the pain that Push feels when he realizes that his childhood friend, someone who was like family, is now snitching on him. The friend used to support Push through the trials and tribulations of life, motivating him to become a rapper, but now Push doesn’t even want to talk to him.

Once Push realizes that he is talking to a friend-turned-informant, he doesn’t want to continue the conversation, as anything he says might be used against him by the cops.
Here, the man could be referring to both the snitch, and the law enforcement agencies, which are referred to as The Man, a powerful and influential person or organization.

These lines form the crux of the song. Home is representative of the surroundings that Push grew up in, the street life and a home life that couldn’t stop him from getting into crime. But he does not want to return to those hard times; he’d rather live in the present with “No regrets.”.

These lines could be playing off of the phrase Go Hard or Go Home. To die for your goal is to go all out – hard – no turning back, no going home.

The solitude of the jail cell often plays tricks on the mind of the prisoner, possibly causing hallucinations. The isolation also breaks him mentally and persuades him to turn on his friends- become a S.N.I.T.C.H

These lines are also reminiscent of the lyrics off the Clipse song “Nightmares”

These four walls are closing in, these voices ain’t my friend

The snitch looks in the mirror and is so embarrassed and ashamed at what he’s done that even his own reflection won’t look at him.

Also a reference to the Michael Jackson song, “Man in the Mirror”, from the 1988 album “Bad”. MJ’s song was about taking a long, hard look at yourself and changing your flaws for the better.

Push flips it, and bets that his friend the turncoat is a coward who can’t look himself in the eye and admit to himself that he threw his community away to save himself.
