Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force

Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force were a 1980s hip hop group most known for their 1982 hit, “Planet Rock”.
The group, along with Afrika Bambaataa, helped pioneer and popularise electro music, a combination of electronic music from the time with more funk elements.

The Soulsonic Force were a group of MCs and DJs consisting of MC Globe, Mr Biggs, Pow Wow and Jazzy Jay.
